Bluetec technology

Bluetec is a collection of technologies that have a clear objective: to reduce emissions of diesel mechanics and their consumption. The operating principle of this technique is based on the catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides, by adding ammonia as a reducing agent, and its conversion into molecular nitrogen and water vapor. Being dangerous substance ammonia in commercial vehicles using an aqueous solution of urea, which is odorless and is not toxic. On the SCR technique, this additive is known as AdBlue.
