Performance Ratio – PR

That certainly would in a photovoltaic power insolation plays an important role. But that soon may benefit if the final installation is badly designed, poorly configured, or the components are not a low quality.

The Performance Ratio (PR) or Total Performance Factor is the value used to measure the performance of a facility after deducting the power losses inherent in a PV system, and therefore, is a parameter completely independent of irradiation . In a given location, we must work for the PR either maximum or minimum losses.

A PR average below 70% (ie a loss of 30%) is the minimum expected value (below would be grossly inefficient, but not ruled on certain days or even hours). It would not be unreasonable without too many problems exceed 75%, and in some cases, even 80%.

Therefore, once we have a particular site, we give our full attention to minimize losses. At this point you can do many things and in many ways …

We will pursue this matter.
